It's not air integrated...junk

Lol - really? That is the yard stick now? I think maybe you meant to say "in your use case no air integration is a deal breaker". I dive with a Suunto that is air integrated but still prefer my spg as primary. The air integration is nice and all but by no means mandatory nor is the gear junk because they don't have it. Different strokes for different folks - not to mention how did we dive years ago when that didn't exist...

Taking a quick read it appears it will be a good enough device for snorkeling and some recreational shallow diving for picture takers, vacationers, and what not who want that GPS tagging.
