There still is, a few are showing blue throat signs now and others show the yellow throat.
This debate came because the parent specimens were collected as yellow bellies but in a region where the two variants overlap. So they could have both genes causing the variation in offspring.
Biota does not guarantee that the babies are all yellow throat. According to their web site, only one of the ones they keep show blue throat, the rest are yellow throat. They did not give the percentage or the denominator of this statistic.
