Hey all

A while ago I noticed a tentacle coming out of the shady area of the live rock and haven’t seen it for ages. Today the tentacle is black and large and seems to be picking up left overs off the sand bed! Does anyone know what this could belong to? Sorry for the poor quality but I just can’t get it on pics and videos very well!

It’s similar to a Nass snail tube in terms of material but it retracts it and then puts it back out again constantly. Doesn’t like harsh light and all my Nas snails are accounted for so it isn’t one of those!

Send help!

Oh no! That’s really bad right
If it is a eunice worm, it can get big and eat your livestock. I would try to get a better video or picture of it. When they are small I do not think they are necessarily a direct threat to anything, however, I do not have a ton of experience with them. Eunice worms tend to be more active at night. Use a red light to look at your tank when the lights are out to see if you can spot anything.
