I have a 150 gallon 5x2x2 aquarium containing the follow fish

18 - 20 inch zebra moray
20 to 22 inch red sea white spotted moray
8 to 10 inch greasy grouper
6 inch sailfin tang

My tank looks extremely empty with mostly only my sailfin tang going round about with my eels and grouper just cuddling each other in the rocks

Are there any tankmates i could add?
I thought of adding the following fish

Volitan lion
Lieutenant tang

I heard that the sailfin is relatively aggressive so I had doubts concerning the lieutenant tang

As for filtration I have a 35 gallon sump with 1 micron filter socks with a protein skimmer with seeded live rock and bio media

I am open to more fish suggestions!

Based on your current stock, you’re going to want something fairly big (to avoid predation) and aggressive.

If you want a fish that will add a lot of movement in your tank, you can get tangs in the acanthurus genus. These guys will swim from end to end of the tank all day.

You can do a harlequin tusk. These guys are awesome.

Maybe midsize puffers or triggers?

I like the idea of tangs as for the tusk, i think tusks eat snails? I wanted to have a good majority of nassarius snails

Do triggers eat snails too?

Are the acanthurus tangs suitable with a sailfin?

My tusk likes to play with the snail. But I hate snails so..

As for the tangs compatibility. i have an Achilles tang with a purple tang in a 150. I think it comes down to the personality/temperament of the fish you get. But it should be fine

Thank you for the suggestions!
Is there any specific way of introducing them?

I would get an acanthurus that is much smaller than the sailfin( But still big enough that it won’t get eaten by your other fish).

Grab a mirror and put it against the glass so the sailfin will be distracted by its own reflection.
