Hi all, am not right tech savvy … but after seeing a few pictures on new builds and start ups , thought I’d follow on…and give this a try…

Am still new to this site , so apologies for anything that doesn’t make sense with order or pictures etc…and hoping this is in the right section…

Reading this short story , will not give you any super powers , but if you have any good feedback, please let us know ..

so I had a 110 litre soft coral tank running, with rear sump..
we decided to decorate, like you do …?!?of course..

This meant moving the tank to a temporary spot , great..

tank in temporary spot looked ok , but would look even better if it was a corner tank..!?!?
Upgrade thinking here..at this point..

not many corner marine tanks , about , so opted for a juwel trigon 190, had one of these years ago, love the curved glass..
Not high tech by any means , considering what’s about on the market..
But we’ll make it work.

So I ditched the juwel standard bio pump, and upgraded it to the biggest available one.1000.

added a fluval external canister filter, with siporax, and the bio spheres from original tank., and as much original water as possible….

cabinet put together, backed the glass in a vinyl, not great but can be changed , not pleased with the quality, but couldn’t tell of the imperfections until water was in …. Very annoying..anyway we carry on..

Saturday night consisted of building and cementing Carib sea rock together to make a permanent structure, x 2 of…first attempt must say…using aquaforest stone fix a very good product actually.
And making a right good mess in the process….

Once set up, and correct temperature reached, I dosed with seachem stability , and fish returned to their new home.

tried the original l.e.d lighting for a few days, then transferred back to the TMC illumenair 900, way way better….
Pictures not great , as it was cameraman’s day off……..honest.

Your old tank was only 30 gallons (i.e. 110 liters?)
