Hi I recently bought glass to build my first aquarium after using a few thickness calculators. I recently had a realization that I wasn't sure if these calculators are for rimmed or rimless and even after skimming threads here I couldn't find an answer.
I went a bit above the low end safety factor but just want an outside opinion as this will be my first build.
I have 6mm glass for all 5 panels of a 12 inch rimless cube, all non tempered. I found a link for custom aquariums.com and they use 3/8" thick glass for a 12 inch cube, and I found a few posts saying all rimless should be 3/8'' thick. I'm worried as the glass is cut and purchased. Am I in the clear?
