Hi, I need some help. I have a 29 gallon tank, that I’ve kind of been slacking taking care of. I’ve had it for about a year and a half, and it’s gone decently. My water parameters aren’t terrible, I have no ammonia or nitrite, and I have about 50ppm of nitrate. In my tank, I have one pajama cardinal, one springeri damsel, and two occ. clownfish. For my CUC, I have three nassarius snails, two astrea snails, one turbo, and one cleaner shrimp. I however don’t have any coral. I never really wanted them in the past, but after thinking about it, I do want some. Mostly just softies, and lps though. My weekly routine is normally just doing a 10-15% water change with water from a lfs.
My hardware consists of an aquasky 60mm light, the fluval 207 filter, an aqueon heater, and a thermostat.
To start this “renovation” I was thinking about getting more ideal water parameters, and just cleaning up my tank more the usual for my weekly maintenance.
Is the light I currently have suitable for coral? Or should I get another, and if you have any recommendations for anything about my situation, I’d love to hear it!
Thanks
