Hi All-

I had a reef tank years ago, and jumped back in this year. Tank was setup in the first week of June 2024 with all new equipment, dry rock and live sand.

With so much information out there, I'm looking for advice about what to focus before I added anything else to the tank.

Tank: Waterbox Marine X 60.2 + Sump
Current Livestock: 2 Clownfish

I agree with above, the tank is missing corals lol
And I love that rockwork, looks good, but will look better with corals.

What parameters should I move to beyond the basics?
The basics to me being: Salinity, PH, Ammonia (0), Nitrite (0), Nitrate

You won't really need to worry about any of those besides Salinity and Nitrate once your tank is cycled. Setup in June it is likely cycled.

You want to track Alkalinity, Calcium and Magnesium as the main 3. The others are Nitrate and Phosphate.
