Hello all I'd like to start taking pics to track progress of my tank and to share but the pics are always too blue. I don't have my lights set to be extra blue but I'm not getting the results I want.

How and what equipment are you using to take the great pics and videos I see of some of your tanks?

Thanks for the help,

Amazon sells colored filters that can snap onto your phone or camera, to get rid of the blue hue you need an orange one. I bought a set from amazon for 28 USD that has a ton that just clip on. Works great.

If your phone/camera allows you to change the White Balance (typically labelled WB) then this will go a long way to help correct the blue that you are seeing.

These three photos were taken on my phone under the same light. The first one on Auto, the second at 2300K and the third at 10000K (WB is measured as colour temperature and the K denotes Kelvin). None have a filter.
