Hi, I'm making up a wishlist for a 40 AIO tank I'm putting together, and was reading about tailspot blennies. They seem like they would be perfect. I wanted a lawnmower or starry blenny for their personality but they get kinda big and I was reading that individuals get aggressive with gobies. I already have a Yasha goby, Rainford goby, and a firefish, and would like to keep them and not have them bullied. Since these aren't perching types of gobies, do you think I would be okay with a tailspot?

Absolutely the best personality in my tank, go for it. You won’t regret it.

ooohhh...my wife is looking for a fish that will "sit on the rocks"...this might be a good option, glad you posted it!

She loved the Hawkfish, but we also have Shrimp and I've heard that's a terrible idea.

We're putting in a Link's Goby & Court Jester Goby soon, do you think a Tailspot would have any issues with those two in a 90 gal?

I'd be weary of a tailspot, depending on what coral you're keeping. I had one in a previous tank that would nip at my SPS polyps. The fish eventually killed an Acro frag... Then a couple days later he jumped onto the carpet and died.

I’ve kept a Yasha with a tailspot together before, they didn’t even acknowledge each others existence

Tons of personality and very peaceful. Underrated for color. Awesome fish!

Thanks, I'm not planning on keeping acros, and I will definitely have a lid.

tsb absolutely loves perching. I built a bit of a rock tower in my tank to add some height and he has always lived up there. This guys adds nice movement and color up at the top and will most likely enjoy the whole reef.

I didn’t get a chance to get my gel filter out for a better pic. But here is my TSB following my mandarin around. They are becoming great friends. Haha
