Hi. I have been having issues with 1 hammer that looks swollen.
My tank is a fluval evo 13.5 (tank is 6 months old now) and up until recently had the stock light. (Ive recently upgraded to an ai prime 16hd 2 months ago).

The coral appeared normal for the first 2 days but started to swell. Hes been in my tank for 5 months now and still looks swollen. (Please see first 2 videos)

My salinity is 35ppt
Alk: 9.3
Nitrate: 2.5
Phosphate: 2
Been using salifert to get these readings.

I also have 2 other hammers. 1 looks normal but the other one looks swollen at the base but the polyps look normal.

Could the issue be not enough light?
I will attach images and settings below. Screenshot_20240324_150905_myAI.jpg Screenshot_20240324_150921_myAI.jpg

My first thought in seeing your lighting setup was that maybe your lighting is too low. Seeing the coral it makes me think this might be the case. It may be stretching out to allow more surface area to soak up light.
I don’t use your light, but the ones I do use are turned up to the 90% range in the blue spectrums.

Make any adjustments gradually, and check out this thread to see how others are using their lights like yours. A cursory look lends me to think you are running your lights lower than they are.

Thank you so much. After looking through other setups like mine I noticed some of their lights are at the 100s for blues

Ive taken to gradually bumping up the intensity.

Thank you again for the help
