Good afternoon

I've restarted carbon dosing with vinegar to bring nitrates down.
I added a copperband butterfly several months ago who eats voraciously but the feeding has brought nitrate levels up.
Current level 21.6 ppm nitrate
Phosphate .08 ppm

Following the vinegar dosing chart I'm currently dosing 20ml per day into my system.
Nitrates have lowered from 32ppm over 1 month.

I'm utilising zeobak along with zeolites with the recommended 3 hours on/off cycle through reactor.

Tank is spa dominant & corals are growing well but colours are muted.

Question is, would I be better off adding zeostart instead of vinegar as per kz website?
If so, what would be best practice for weaning off the vinegar while switching to zeostart?

I personally see no reason to switch from vinegar to an unknown organic just because the seller of that secret organic suggests to. :)
That was my gut feeling also.
Vinegar has worked well in the past.
I've had good results from some of the kz additives used prudently but I was a little sceptical of the website blurb regarding solely using KZ carbon source with the zeobak.
Many thanks randy!
