Today I realised that two species have gone from rare to not so rare in the Aquarium. These A. tenuis and A. aculeus finally let me do frags and not all of them dies. Yeey!

Here’s the 10000L reef tank from the past. And the same tank today :D

So cool to see the rooms empty! This long room below will be the new entrance hall. Somewhere where the pile of rock is now, the stairs down to the new Aquarium will be located. So you first enter the museum building, then go down “under the surface “ :)

Edit. I admit that I played around a little with the colours on the reef picture.. :p

Yeey! The postal system still works. Our water samples got to Triton Lab in Germany:)
Hope everyone has a good holiday, despite the current situation. I’m away from work a couple of days. Spring cleaning and repairing a sailing boat.

I do not know what holiday you're referring to but hope you have a good one too!

If you can, snap some before and after pics of the sail boat repairs and share.

Easter! Well, not a long holiday. But I took an extra day off anyway :)

I need to find a flight to Sweden. I just saw the bars are reopened!
Haha :D Not really. They’ve been open all along. But have been given restrictions more and more. I haven’t been at the pub for more then a month.
On the other hand Systembolaget(liquor store chain, government owned) are selling more alcohol than ever. We swedes know what’s important during crises..

Jokes aside, it’s crazy times everywhere. I hope we all get through this soon.

At least I found some Swedish harring for Easter. Yes, we are simple people, eat the same stuff for every big holiday. Or at least I do :p

Back at the Aquarium today. Here’s what it looks like outside today. Still a lot of rock to remove, but things are moving on!

Today I saw that they are under to old museum building. Crazy o_O Perhaps that’s where the stairs will be down from the entrance to the new Aquarium.

Things are going well in the Temporary Aquarium. The animals are doing well and our sea urchin larvae are now 36 days old and still swimming around nicely. A couple of more days, then we might got our first settled sea urchin(Diadema setosum). Really exciting!
I’ll try to take some picture from the
tanks later :)

The sexual reproduction experiment today. Still some Cyanobacteria, but there’re giving up soon I think.

So far it’s been easiest to get a hold of Acropora hyacinthus, but soon there will be pairs (or more than two individuals) of Acropora tenuis and A. aculeus too.

LOL and here in Panama the government though I'd be a good idea to ban alcohol sales altogether. Can't even buy non-alcoholic beer because its stuck in the alcohol section.

Can't wait to see how your aquariums en up!
Take care

This is what you get when giving the gaming substitute the chance to reprogram our aquarium controllers. Where’s the on/off button? o_O
Nice chart though. Don’t understand it yet, but it looks good.

Perhaps with Dihydrogen Monoxide. I've heard that in the right dosage it can help without killing the users. Though it should not be inhaled.
My daughter is a marine scientist and has played this card before and yes, inhaling it is a bummer.

Here’s the coral I used a saw to frag a while back. It looks great I think! Funny it has grown onto the rock under it, where there’s no light.

And a couple of pictures from other temporary tanks.
