Tank progress paused, parenting win.

I have a feeling my house is going to be the one that all the kids come to. I'm not gonna lie, I'm totally loving it.
One kid is back there swinging my 5lb axe and splitting wood bc he "wants to be a lumberjack", and that's ok. Little dude is about to turn 13. I may start paying him.

Major progress made on the tank in the last 36 hours. I'm beat. 200lbs+ rock out then back into the tank.
7/8 nems accounted for, for @StatelineReefer and @Battlecorals. That last one will be found, dead or alive.

I have to say, @Bleigh, I'm really glad you entered me into that aquascaping contest in TX! I really thought a lot more into what the scape was going to do as far as the fish I have, the Eelektra King coming on Thursday, flow, and future coral placement.
So, let's play some Tetris.

All the leftover rock was thrown into an extra 10g I had with a mini skimmer and pump (needs to be replaced with a bit more gph).

Does this look like ich to you? Think I'll live?

My friend Dominique and her boys stopped over. She and I have been friends since kindergarten

2 days in a row, all the neighborhood kids discovered my backyard is probably the coolest backyard in the neighborhood. Dogs, chickens, fishes, birds, snake... 2 days in a row of being outside enjoying the sunshine and making great memories on the last days of summer.

You might know what this means, my hemoglobin levels dropped to 10.6 or 10.7 from 11.x in a month. In about 3 more weeks, more blood work. Iron, iron, and more iron!

Nope, I need more red meat, strawberries, spinach and iron supplements, yes this is what my prenatal doctor recommended. If it continues to drop, iv will be in the conversation. I'll refuse though.

My wife has low iron naturally and suffers from anemia because of it. Dizziness, body aches, fatigue, etc. No fun! She's able to raise her iron levels with supplements. Hopefully for you and baby your levels get up there.

That's amazing... There is parts of the world that let kids 'grow up'.


Frankly almost teared up, growing up in the early/mid 80's we were that house. My grandparents were aging out and they lived with my parents and thus we had cable. Greatest novelty ever in 1985!

Ex wife dealt with that and I had some lingering heat stroke issues... Dont know how wife fixed it, in my case 50 pounds and a few decades later no more issues... Now i'm just fat, lol.

Unless you go below 10, I doubt they will want to infuse you with it anyway.

I've had a hemoglobin count of 6 before. I never thought I could look so pale. I still refused infusion. They know me.

But, for now supplements
