Hi im Josh! im new here. And i am trying to figure out how to get my korallin sulfur biodenitrator up and running. It got given to me for free by a close buddy. It appears to have some kind of modification done to it because i cant find any pictures anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Welcome aboard - lots of cool people with an ocean of knowledge here! I would suggest starting a build thread so we all can admire and help.

I actually have a Korallin sulfur denitrator & a calcium reactor. However, they both are sitting in storage since I’ve either upgraded to bigger unit or have no need for them.

As for the biodenitrator, before you get that going, how old is your tank? What is your NO3 level? Word of caution: this works very, very well! If you’re not careful and test regularly, it can strip all NO3 and your SPS (if you have them) will RTN. That’s what happened to me and since then, I’ve shut it down and basically just let nitrate rise! I think that my NO3 is triple digit now — no issues though.

Good luck and welcome to R2R!!!

I have one. Please post photos of the modifications

Do yourself a favor and and get a needle valve from BRS. This will make it easier to tune it

I recommend a 50/50 mix of Sulphur and aragonite
