There are many ways to DIY a Turf scrubber for very little money and with little effort. I've seen some with just PVC, some screen, and a light and work pretty good.

Before and after

Obviously once the algae situation was fixed (took me about 4-6 weeks) I started adding corals. But, the scrubber fixed the algae on its own, cleaned out my rock, the algae never came back and I haven r done water changes in 2 years and haven’t run a skimmer in 1 year

Some API tests are more accurate than others

This is client tank they may not want a diy install on their tank that they pay maintenance for, and might instead want a finished professional looking product

Cool OPM

Then for a super rich finished commercial looking product I'd get this

That does look awesome lol

But in all seriousness, the client is frustrated the maintenance company is frustrated. Unit I posted takes up zero cabinet space, has zero risk of over flowing onto a floor, is affordable, silent, and proven to work good. It would be a great solution without breaking the bank

Please don’t blindly trust miracle instagram products that have almost no reviews or feedback. This is a customers tank he can’t be experimenting with stuff that only has Tiktok or instagram shorts to back it up

Found it and it looks like they do say it's for saltwater but also looks like it's repackage product that everyone else says is for freshwater.

Ingredients :
Deionized water, Potassium, Hydroxide.
Just one thing to note
Hydroxide boosts alkalinity

Please dont. But, ive personally seen it used on plenty of high end acros and many other types of corals. I have added it into my dip rotation with bayer.

This is a new dip and it is working for many.

might be winning the battle slowly
we had stopped all chemicals (only dose ElimniPhos once a week) and kept weekly 200lt (20% water changes)
Algae seem to be still there but returning much much slower after manual removal each and every visit (3 times a week)
today water change and full water tested (before the water change)

temp 25.7C probe
Salt 1.026 manual
Ph 7.84 probe
Nitrate 5 ApI
Phosphate 0 ApI
Phosphorus 93 which translates to 0.27 free phosphate Hannah
Calcium 420 ApI
Kh 6 ApI

which I believe to be not bad at all.
since a week or 2 it seems also that corals have fully recovered looking more vibrant and growing again....
