New to the hobby, started a innovative marine fusion 15 nano reef. The tank has been running just over a month now. Since the tank cycled and I added a pair of clown fish which have been doing great and the levels in the tank have been holding great for two weeks now. My plan for this tank is to add some soft corals nothing too crazy. I do regular water changes weekly.

Currently Im running
In tank media basket with filter floss / fluval bio max / Chemi-pure blue
Aqua top 100w titanium heater
K7 mini noo-psyche light
Stock pump
10 pounds of live sand
15 pounds live dry rock

Current fish in tank
1 black storm clownfish
1 black ice clownfish

That being said I’m looking for some advise on stocking suggestions for fish/invertebrates that I should add that are appropriate for a tank this size. Also time wise when should I add said fish/invertebrates?

(Leaning towards a yellow watchman goby/pistol shrimp combo but can be swayed)

I would suggest a goby or blenny. They have some personality. I would personally steer clear of the pistol shrimp. I had a ywg/pistol combo in my IM Nuvo 20 and the amount of destruction they did to the tiny sandbed footprint that tank has was unreal. Cool to watch but a mess to maintain.

I'd probably only go one more fish in a 15 with clowns, and I'd do a pistol/goby pair. I have a Randall's pistol aka candy cane in a 13.5g Evo. Works fine, probably because it is the smaller of the pistol shrimp species. YWG would work, but lots of options for goby shrimp. Tailspot blenny is always a good choice. For inverts, lots of options, but I particularly like porcelain crabs. Sexy shrimp + RFAs are also great, and that is a beginner anemone. That K7 mini light will support anything you want to put in the tank except for a clam.

Sounds advice. If I did go that direction I was leaning toward a candy cane pistol. Do you have any issue with them and your corals?
