Have a 15 gallon Waterbox cycling and was thinking about what would be interesting to add. Currently have around 8 pounds of dry rock and 2 pounds of live rock, as well as 10 pounds of live sand. I will eventually be adding corals. Anyone have any suggestions for both corals and or fish. This will be my first tank so nothing expert level lol.

a Tail Spot blenny

There are some good sticky threads (to read) on the top of this forum, that give some great guidance for success.

Pick two small fish, adult size 3" and under, that aren't especially active. If the tank does well with 2, you could go for 3.

A pair of clownfish is always nice. Or a yellowtail blue damsel, added last.

I strongly recommend a small shrimpgoby (antenna goby, yasha goby, etc) and a candycane pistol shrimp. Amazing to watch.

court jester goby! neat little guy that eats algae!
These are great, but make sure it's eating prepared foods before you buy. They can be hard to get onto prepared foods, and you don't want to deal with that in your first tank. Best in a well-established tank with lots of algae to nom on, and frequent supplementation with nori. Not too hard, if you get one that's eating prepared already.

For fish you don't have many options, clownfish, gobies, small cardinal fish, bass let or a blenny, for corals I would stick to soft corals and sps because nano tanks parameters change a lot and lps won't like this, if you get 1 or 2 clownfish get a bubble tip anenome, there good for begginers and clownfish love them!

Bubble tip anemones are not good for beginners. They require a well-established, stable tank, and have a tendency to wander around stinging other corals. A 15 gallon is also pretty small for a bubble tip; if it does well, it's likely to start multiplying and take the whole thing up.
