I really like the pearly jaw fish.
It can be a real a- hole with the digging sometimes. Buried my HG micro a number of times. But it is pretty and personable

I stopped keeping sand diggers. Irritated coral dont grow as fast as happy ones. Gave up my melanurus because hes go out of his way to spit sand on all the coral. I just sick of cleaning the sand off them.

Just a few pics. Most of today’s work was on the right side of the cabinet. Was tired of looking at the unholy mess it had become. Still a WIP but much better. No pics from before, cause it was too embarrassing

Been in low 90s for several days. Crappy A/C in LR not keeping it really too cool. Tank is presently 84.5 but nothing appears unduly stressed so far. It only bumped this high today from 80-81 yesterday. Miss tank being in study a bit where I can just close the door and get room temps of low to mid 60s. Will keep eye on as it’s going to stay this way for a while.

Hmmm…I just took a trip down memory lane and noticed my leopard looks a bit thinner than when it first went in. Time for some pods I think. It’s still eating well but with now 3 wrasses and a copperband in the tank….

I grabbed 4 jars of galaxy pods from Algae barn. They showed up today. As soon as the lights go out I’ll be removing the socks. I’ll dump two up top and two in the sump. Then turning flow off for 20 minutes or so……

Need to boost the population….last boost was in March.
