Here he is! My newest coral in my nano, a bright red goniopora. Even brighter than the hot pink go is I’ve seen. The photo doesn’t show off that colour and makes it look like a rainbow (which i don’t mind much).

And my Alveopora I’ve been growing since Christmas :)

One new guy starting to come out

And 2 macros of my rainbow starting to wake up for the night. He’s nocturnal

These are actually from the same parent colony just different sections.

It’s super sensitive. The one that’s open…it took probably two weeks before it started to extend. And it doesn’t really extend much in day hours. It’s currently nocturnal lol. The other one hasn’t wanted to come out at all really, I’ve had it 9 days. The seller says the mother colony is fully extended all day long and gave pics. Suggested I tried enticing it by feeding in the day time. So far they have not had any interest in any foods or aminos offered. Until…

I bought reef energy ab+, used to use it when I kept sps and know it doesn’t foul up my tank. I turned off flow and basted the two gonis and left flow off for 10-15 min then turned everything back on. This was about a hour before the pictures. afterwards saw what I photographed. So…I think I found something they like. Been using it two days so far and I see improvement. I then basted all my gonis in it :)

I have AB+ from a a while ago. Maybe I should give it a go, at least for some of my finicky ones. I’ve got 2 in particular right now that are being pouty. My glitter bomb and a newish one I got from LRO. That one was fully out, and then just decided to turtle. I’m trying to find a place where it’s happy again but for now I’ll just leave alone and hope it changes its mind.

Purty. Nice & bright.
LPS are probably my favourite as SPS I can’t keep looking nice with yellows and reds but LPS love the tank and hold some gorgeous colours.

What sps have you tried? Montis, both encrusting and Digis have been favs of mine and grow pretty well as well as stylophora.
