I have one like this, which I got from Pablo (Marine Farmers) several months ago. Already doubled in size, and one of my prize pieces.
Wow. I got a stereo from Pablo and it has been slow growing and has just about doubled in size after a couple of years. What kind of placement do you have it in and are you feeding?

I feed phytoplankton nightly and Chroma Boost or Oyster Feast about 3x/week. I've found that good flow and oxygenation (powerheads close to the top) help too.

Different colors seem to grow at different rates. The yellow and orange ones seem to grow fastest.

I have two currently. The one in my main display is not growing as well as my one in the frag tank. The frag tank has T5 lighting and lower flow. My main system is all leathers and nems and higher flow and T5s with MH.

I may have to move the one in my display further down in the tank it is midway up currently with lots of flow.

Mine also came from Marine Farmers. I have the purple/yellow (main display) and the redish/bright pink one (frag tank).

Does anyone here have a frag of that orange polyped stereo they'd be willing to sell?

I just grabbed a few of the Legendary Coral Pink Lemonade stereos. Delivered today! They seem a bit thinner than the yellow base/purple polyps version that Marine Farmer offers. I'll be curious to see if there's a noticeable difference as they age. I have several of both frags.

I also agree with the above -- I have put most of my stereos in high flow and they seem to be much happier.

Family photo - orange, pink, yellow and mulberry (hard to discern the last few - gold is closed)

A couple more from earlier today. I think it’s a rule the best polyp extension occurs when you haven’t cleaned the glass in a few days.

They all look great! Where in mn do you live? I’m in Apple Valley.

What lights do you keep them under? I’ve tried numerous times to keep stereo alive but they end up slowly wasting away. The exception is my koji wada which did great for awhile until I lost it during a tank move.

Honestly, nothing crazy. They’ve been kept under Radion g5, random marineland strips, the cheap Amazon lights. I think good flow is most important. They do seem to like more vs less light.

I have several species of these corals. One of them came to me along with symbiotic ophiurus. As far as I understand, no one has observed such a phenomenon in their aquarium yet.

Anyone fragging soon? I'm looking for a purple tipped/pink lemonade or yellow or tan color to complement my koji wada.

This is a pink Jap Nepthyea that is about the size of beach volleyball. A palau neon green nepthyea is to the left of it. I'm interested in stereos, so if anyone is in FL and wants to do some trades, LMK.
