So salifert isn’t far off hard to see if it’s 7.8-8.0 apex reading 7.88

pH 7.8 to 8.0 is generally considered fine.

Some hard corals will probably grow faster at higher pH, but its not urgent. It's pH below 7.7 where things may get bad fast .

@davsreef How are you getting on? :) I will be doing something similar with my tank up in Scotland and was hoping you could share a success story to encourage me to continue ;)

Only thing I am looking at doing differently is to have a Versa dosing pump running the kalkwasser (mainly for noise! Continuous 24 hrs with the DOS would drive me mad) - and having my Triton 4-part on DOS dosing pumps.
