Starfish Spawning??

Just got this orange and blackstriped star last week and it appears to be spawning in my tank. Can anyone please confirm?

MMM looks like its dying to be honest. Spilling its guts.

Yea looks like a possible infection to me. I'd remove ASAP if you have any other stars in the system

That was my first guess, but didn't want to move it if it was just spawning. I do have a sand sifter in the tank also. It has stopped releasing what ever it was. Have moved it to QT for now. Will keep you posted. Thanks for the recommendation.
