Hey crabs, I have an S overflow on my frag system and it is great. Kinda set it up like you would the Bean Animal just don' have the 3rd emergency drain. I used the piece of pipe it came with and added a short piece to the other drain, set my gate valve so just a little bit of water trickles down the higher pipe. Works really good.
Thanks! I actually just recently got my drilled 40 breeder with the eclipse s up and running. It's dead silent and works great. My only complaint is that they give you a cover for the outside box but not for the inside box lol.

Hi Crabs, I was thinking the same. They should have a cover for the inside box too. We have to make one...LOL

Yeah I thought that was kinda odd also. But all in all it works pretty good.

Another user on here created a stl file for me based off dimensions I made him. I'm trying to track down either someone with a 3d printer or who does custom acrylic work to make me a cover.

That will be great. I still have some 1/4 " plexiglass from the filter suck holder that I made for my sump, so let see if I can make a cover.

Great build wish i had went with a different overflow box rather than the glassholes one i chose its a tad on the noisy side if you have to much return flow, but we live and learn.
Thanks. Went I start making my build, I look on the different option that I have and went with the Eshopps. Now, my return is from glass holes. My overflow box is not that noisy and I can live with that, a little relax...LOL

Another diy project, an ATO. Tired of filling up every day so I made my own gravity ATO. I got a Walmart container about 4g for $6 and a quick connect buckhead and valve from Amazon. I also got the Eshopps float valve so today will be running.

Well, today just got my skimmer, the Reef Octopus 110-int, a gift from my wife and a 20% that I got on Orlando RAP from BRS.

I like the quality of this skimmer. Perfect foot print for my small space on my sump. Made the stand for the skimmer since I have 12" baffle on the first bay.

Tank update. I have some diatoms on the sand and glass but my law mover blenny take care of the sand quick. I got a bottle of Vibrant and it works great cleaning my glass and water in an hour. Also, I have some bubble algae growing on the rocks and a pair of emerald crabs are doing their magic on it.
