Good morning all, so I have had my first ever SPS for almost 3 months now, and I have a question. Right now it is just one little stem maybe an inch in length. With multiple tiny nubs, and even more just polyps coming out from the frag stem. So the question is will all polyps eventually become branches? I know they are slow growing, just wondering if all the little polyps will become branches. Thanks in advance for any and all help. The coral is a PC rainbow acro.

Most of those numbs will become branches. Each individual polyp wont.

Each polyp won’t, no… but it will encrust a lot then branch out from the base and the original frag here or there… here’s a picture of a table that’s taken 5 months apart you can see the shoots forming at the base.
