Two of my recent addtions to my reef are losing their flesh at an alarming rate.
This is a pretty new setup and I recently started dosing BIonic 2part about a 2 weeks ago.
Recieved corals at 95degrees Farenheit about 4 days ago.
I noticed the tissue loss the next morning.
I had been following the instructions on the B-Ionic 2 part. around 20-25ml per day.
I have since 2 days ago reduced the dosing to 10ml per day of each of 2 part.
My ph is also pretty high could that be the problem? I am dosing about 20 ml of distilled white vinegar towards the end of the lights ON cycle when ph is at its peak.
PH at or below8.6.
Typically 8.4 - 8.6
Calcium 500 up from 200s-300s value before dosing
DKH: 10 up from unknown value before dosing
MAG: 1560 up from unknown value before dosing
Phosphate: 0 holding at zero for over 3 weeks
I know these levels could be better but would that cause significant tissue loss?
The tip disappeared in the last 36 hours.
The underside since the morning after I received it.
