Hello everybody. Just a question out of curiosity. I've read numerous times how SPS grown under LEDs are not natural looking vs how SPS grown under MHs and T5s look more like how they would look in nature. Just what does this mean exactly? And would it be possible to look at an SPS colony and tell what kind of light it was grown under?

It’s not leds vs T5’s/halides but rather focused light vs diffused light.
Perviously the only option for leds were these laser beams and that created some funky looking growth patterns. Not as dense as they were supposed to be since there was huge issues with shadowing.
