I have 2 sps coral that I was given. It was just a bunch of loose coral. I glued them down to the rock but I didn't realize that one of thr pieces was something else. They've been growing ok, but it looks like they are starting to actually touch and embed around each other. Now I'm noticing one of them looks like it's polyps have retracted and aren't coming out. I assumed it's just because my tank isn't stable enough. But then I had the thought of maybe one is stinging the other. If that were thr case, would the whole branch die or would it just be individual polyps?

I don't have a great picture and I honestly don't even know what they are. But the orange one in the back looks like dying. This is an old pic
