is algae under control under those parameters? im baffled by that 60 no3
I'm fighting with Bubble Algae right now but my tank looks good. It's when I let the phosphates drop out that I see algae start.

No I didnt use carbon dosing. All I did was feeding my fish and some powder coral food, and water change about 15%/2 weeks. and I do manual dosing for maintaining KH and Ca.
Just to add to all the good advice provided, you could try to dose TM Plus-NP. From TM description it might help with your situation.

Nitrates got up because my phosphates bottomed out. I'm trying to bring those back in so nitrates start dropping.

NO3 will go up if PO4 is low or depleted, but not to 60 ppm.

Try this…

Feed less, remove the GFO, start slowly dosing Phosphorus.

What other filtration is on the system.?

He’s depleting the PO4 with GFO and 60 ppm NO3 is typically a sign of overfeeding.
NO3 imbalance can also signal RO membrane failure. Mine typically bleeds through if I try to push a membrane for too long and suddenly 50N /0.1P

Yes I would take out the GFO and see over 3 or 4 weeks what happens to the corals. For carbon dosing I would use TM bacto balance at 1/4 recommend dose.
My reason for carbon dosing is to feed bacteria that hopefully feeds the corals. I am not fan of growing excess bacteria for nutrients control, you never know what you end up with.
Good luck.
I have nopox. You think bacto balance is better?

Corals, filter socks, and 6 hours of skimmer.

I have nopox. You think bacto balance is better?
Based on what I read NOPOX is based on Vodka and Vinegar (these are short chain polymers that any bacteria can consume) and if your intent is to use it for nutrient control either will work.
According to TM Bacto Balance is sea based (derived from sea weed/ sea grass, I am not sure) and these are long chain polymers that only supposed to target beneficial bacteria that is later consumed by corals. Since my intent is to grow corals I prefer TM method and I only use 0.5 ml on 65gal system. That is my reason for recommending TM bacto ballance.

i have being wanted to ask some one, how can you tell a difference between burn tips and coral normal growth white tips?
Burnt tips have no visible flesh. It’s harsh calcium carbonate rock.
