Trying to catch three fish to transfer to the new tank and brainstorming on better bait that doesn’t disintegrate and float away. I’m sure a piece of shrimp would do the trick but I don’t have any. I do have a spawn sack used for trout/salmon fishing. They’re kept in some kind of oil, not sure what, but I could give it a rinse in hot water to remove most of it. Or leave it if no threat.
Anyone ever done this or thought about it? Better options?
