I Dipped the coral so should they be dead?
Dipped in what? I mean possibly but possibly not, do you already have vermited ? If so don't worry about it.

Those things are pretty resilient..I hate them.....I have them..... :( :(

Crush the tubes with needle nose or bone cutting pliers along the whole length to kill the snails. I had several on my Monti Cap and it stopped growing where the mucous string from the Vermitid was irritating it.
