Under the monticapWhich part are you talking about exactly?
Idk what antral and ventral means but is this what ur looking for?Assuming this is the ventral view of the coral. Please show the antral view.
Here's another oneAssuming this is the ventral view of the coral. Please show the antral view.
Distal is far proximal is closeIt's usually ventral/dorsal bottom/top, Anterior/Posterior front/back. Distal/proximal close/far.
Understand!It's usually ventral/dorsal bottom/top, Anterior/Posterior front/back. Distal/proximal close/far.
The bottom part that looks like it has spirorbid worms and green algae. I tried scrubbing gently with a toothbrush but it doesn't seem to come off. I did Dip the coral, so would it spread? The top looks fine maybe a little bleached but typically the bottom doesn't have much color.
I just got the coral a few hours ago so it couldn't be my tank and I have a red monticap doing really well. You don't have a lot of stuff on your rocks, maybe it nutrient deficient.
I have a sixline and a leopard wrasse would they suffice? If you have a wrasse it'll eat the worms. I personally never cared about them.
Cool! Thanks legionofdoon!Probably, a blue head would destroy them but it'll also eat everything else with a shell too. They are beautiful fish when they go super male but they will decimate every invert in your tank.
