stopped by a few lfs, over in K-zoo, yesterday. picked up the following corals:

pink-ringed palys - colony with at least 60 polyps

my first chalice, and i love it! :haha: one of 3 frags from the same colony, all 3 look almost totally different. had a hard time deciding which one, but bought this one, due to the pink striping

my first scoly - from a different lfs than the first two purchases. they had just put these in the tank after bringing them from their supplier. i got to cherry pick their cherry picks . i've never had the luck before of being the first one in after a shipment! woohoo! it's green in the center, with yellow around the perimeter. colors are much deeper in person.

well, i ID'd my yeller coral. it's not a scoly, but instead a cynarina lacrymalis, a cousin of the scoly's. also known as a meat coral. just an update, as i didn't wany anyone to mis-ID another one.

stinkin lfs! i want a scoly!!! don't get me wrong, my cynarin is sweet and puffs up and out like you wouldn't believe, but still...... :)
