soda lime in tank

Can anyone let me know if I've made a mistake

I'm currently using a co2 scrubber on my skimmer
I'm also recirculating the co2 scrubber from the skimmer cup
This creates a bit of moisture in the scrubber housing and then this gets sucked into the skimmer air intake silencer

I was emptying the liquid from the skimmer silencer and ended up spilling it into the sump
I have noticed any bad effect on the tank it was only a small amount of liquid bit am unsure of what the contents of said liquid is

Any advice would be appreciated

The soda lime should just raise your pH (and to some degree alk and cal) slightly, as it is just NaOH and Ca(OH)2. No real problems unless you spill a lot of it into your sump. @Randy Holmes-Farley can probably help you further.

a raise in pH would be a good thing at the moment just not the way I intended to try and raise it

Was only a small amount Just wanted to make sure it was safe

That's what I THINK, hopefully Randy will confirm. Also, does it change color when exhausted? Because then it might have leached some dyes into your tank as well.

Yes it does change colour the liquid was clear that I spilt though

Hmm, maybe run a small amount of carbon or do a small water change, don't go over a full "dosage" of carbon if you are going to run it. If you already run carbon, great!

I do have a bag of carbon in 24/7
It's due to be changed.
The tank is about 200 ISH gallons so I'm hoping if any adverse effects are caused by the soda lime it will be minimal with the amount I split compared to the tank volume

I would change out your carbon to remove per schedule to remove any dyes if there were any present. Tank should be ok, having that large of a volume as well.

Check the alkalinity. It's a pretty potent alk supplement.

Alkalinity is up by 0.1-0.2 dkh but that may also be the tolerance in the test
pH hasn't been effected but saying that running the co2 scrubber also doesn't seem to effect the pH level
I've changed the carbon and am due a water change today also
