Picked up another MP40, upgraded both to QD. Well, tomorrow. The mail won't come today because of the holiday.

Started planning a T5/AP700 hybrid fixture. Now if I could just find a 6 bulb Tek for sale.

Bought a Dastaco a month ago... Didn't Hooke it till now to the tank as I'm in Lebanon (the country) and all the LFS are out of media. Don't want to use crushed corals in it[emoji29]

I added some LED lights. I went on a vermetid snail hunt with some pliers. I added a small zoa frag and a piece of live rock with some leather corals on it, and I moved my duncans to a bit calmer spot. Considering trapping my royal gramma because he is a bully and I don't feel like I can add any more fish.

Yeah, the QD is awesome!

I did a five gallon water change on my DT and QT. Added three ornamental shrimp to my DT and three fish into my QT.

Today was a good day.

After my stupid purchase fiasco, I ended up doing a rock teardown to catch a fish. I ended up doing a rescape that I am pretty happy with, and I added a lantern bass and a neon goby. I also did a peroxide dip on three of my zoa frags that were getting a little hair algae on them.

T5's installed with my kessils.. I like the flexibility of the retro kit as far as spacing things out, but if I had the room a fixture would have saved me a lot of hassle.
Still need to organize the cables and figure out how to better run the kessil cables and they are just not long enough to not touch the reflectors.

Put on a glove, rub the foot where it meets the rock until it starts to release. Move a bit and repeat. Eventually it'll let go.

Last night I made an experimental algae scrubber that runs horizontally. It probably won't be as efficient as a vertical one, but if it grows algae, it should help.

I also added a huge piece of fan coral my dad collected when he was in the Air Force back in the early 60s to my sump. I am hoping to seed it and turn it into some live rock.
