Turbo snails normally don’t live more than a year or two with the exception of trochus snails. Trochus snails can live 10 years. I had a problem with Mexican turbo snails but I have two that are doing well now.

I acclimate my snails for 3 hours generally. Someone at the time asked me if there could be copper in the water but I didn’t. I know that lack of food can very quickly become a problem for them especially since most turbo snails come from colder waters. Being in a reef tank raises their metabolism due to the heat.

My snails and hermit crabs die or disappear within a month....

6 Month Old Setup
1400 MAG
8.5 ALK
440 CAL

20 NO3
.06 PO4

I do have enought algea to keep them fed...

My question is now.. do I need to lower my MAG?
I do have a wrasse... is he eating the hermits/snails?

I notice he is a fatty but is very picky when I put food in the tank...

How large is your system and what kind of wrasse do you have? What other fishes, corals, and invertebrates do you have?

What salinity are you running your system at? Your other numbers look great. I wouldn’t reduce MAG or any of the other parameters you’ve posted.

How are you acclimating your inverts and for how long? IME snails are the most sensitive inverts to acclimatization and water chemistry in general.

Have you ever run an ICP?

Metals can kill snails. Exposed magnet or a dropped screw in the tank, etc.

I can't keep snails long term either. ICP shows lithium elevated but not crazy high, I don't recall the number. Other than that, water looks fine. No problem with urchins or a sand stirring star. Nothing that eats algae has starved in my tank, that's for sure.

I'm done with snails. I need some fish that eat algae and more urchins.
