Not sure what species. It's about 2' in diameter now, and it might be needing another brain coral transplant...I've had it for over 10 years now, from when it was just a wee lad.

I assume mine are favia but will have to check a little deeper. The one thing I have always wanted is to get that large round, mound-shaped coral that mimics what I have seen in the wild. Both of mine have this appearance now though it certainly takes a long time. One I have had since it was a small frag (~11 years, unnamed, I think) on a plug and it's now about 8" x 4" x 4" and the other is more of a ball, about the size of a softball (~6 years, Mia's pot of gold). I'll see if I can get some decent pics...
