Hi all. I am using an RO line with a solenoid and water level sensor as my ATO and have an aqualife smart buddie with my RODI setup. I've noticed that when the solenoid shuts off the line, the smart buddie will occasionally click (probably every 30 seconds or so) and a small trickle of water will come out of the waste line. I thought the smart buddie was supposed to completely stop the water flow coming from the RODI but is this normal?

Sure. It’s hooked up to my rodi system in my laundry room. After going through the smart buddie there’s a line that runs to the ato reservoir with the solenoid. I have it turned off currently.

Can you show us a picture of your solenoid setup?
I should mention too that it doesn’t just happen with the solenoid. It happens if any of the ball/float valves are closed on the RO line after it goes through the smart buddie.
