Been awhile since we've had a hangout. I'll host February 17, anytime after 5.

I have a 150 display and 40 frag system running off of kalk slurry with a full hydros control system. If anyone is curious about those I'm happy to discuss them in detail and show them off.

Tacos were a hit last time, so I'll smoke a pork butt and some chuck roast. Feel free to bring sides, apps, beer, kids, or frags. PM for address.

While I have never attended an event I really look forward to doing so so I can finally meet everyone in person. Unfortunately, Feb 17 doesn’t work for me, but we’ll get together again!

Sorry I wasn't able to make it. The basement redo is all consuming.

Frag tank is no more:

Flooring is gone and most is painted. New floors start going in tomorrow:

Today's task is moving the rest of fish and rock from the big tank into my new rubbermaid setup:

And then draining and getting this guy on my mobile cart so I can move it around until the floors are done:

I don't envy that job, but can't wait to see it all put together. I mentioned it before, I have room to safeguard corals or back-up frags if you want.

Cheers,

Matt

thanks. Tank is empty and mobile. Floors are done and this picture is from last night so now the walls are painted where the tank was as well. All that’s left is the thresholds. They didn’t have to tool to fasten them to concrete today. One rock did come apart in the move to the temporary tank but none of the main corals broke. It did mess up a really nice big purple stylo that was hidden in the back (and leave some nice coral scratches on my arm from catching it as it broke)

Now I need to decide since it’s mobile what wall I might put it back on.

Where you located? I'm interested
I'm in Glen Carbon IL but it sounds like it will go to it's new home either Saturday or Monday. Just nailing down the details. If it falls through I'll let you know.

Thanks.
