Ive seen these repaired with gel super glue. My choice would be epoxy
Just get some weld 4 and run a little into the crack. It will fix it properly. Anyone recommending anything else has no idea what they are talking about. Weld-on 4 is like water and will just run right into the crack and weld it back together
Interestingly enough, I called around and not a single store in my town has weld on for acrylic. Nor do any within 100 kilometres. Looking online, it is available in Canada, but the shipping prices are absurd. $34 to ship a $10 1/4 pint can.

You don’t need Weldon. 2 part epoxy or marine epoxy will be perfect

If he wanted to do it correctly yes he does need Weldon… to just patch it and keep going, yeah use what ever it’s not a big deal.

Done this twice with superglue due to negligence of both UPS and USPS and it lasted until I replaced the units

Agreed it works.. it seals it anyways… it’s unsightly but works.. the correct way is Weldon but it’s not a must.. million ways to skin a cat with the same results in the end. ;)
