Skimmate as a fertilizer?

I used it on some plants last summer and it worked great...made the leaves stand up strait every time i added it to them....
No problems with the salt content? How long did you use it for?
seems like alot of work for the amount you get, but for each his own i guess. would think it be okay to use, especially if you could get the salt out. poop does make for some good fertilizer.
More of an experiment for entertainment than anything, lol. I really need to get out more...
Used it on tomatoes, basil, and zucchini last year with great results.

my roses love it!!!!!!!! granted i skim dry so the salt content is very diluted but im sure some is still there... i have dumping it on my roses for years...
I skim fairly dry, but I'm still afraid of the salt content. WE've actually been getting some nice warm weather over the past few days, so the skimmate is drying out pretty well. I think that by the end of the weekend it will be dry enough to spread flat and hopefully get some more salt content out.
