Got a new wrasse today at the "local" fish store I do not have a QT tank so she is in my display now inside an acclimation box.

She looked great at the store but I'm seeing specks on her now that she's home.

What would you do?

Should I do a freshwater dip?

The specs i see appear to be ich but also may be lymphocystsis as the concentration seems to be on fins. How will you know... Over the next 24 hrs, continue to observe. If the fish has additional dots, parasite it likely is.
FW water dip wont do much which you should not have to do as it is a NEW purchase.
I hate to say, but either:
- continue to observe
OR - Take the fish back based on a new risk which you paid for and spend your money at a different store.

If you keep fish, Have coppersafe and a hanna test kit plus quarantine tank which you will need for now and in the future
