Mine's not even worth showing right now. I only have one coral and an extremely healthy growth of algae. I can't afford to add anything at the moment, not even a measly emerald crab to take care of the dastardly algae.

But I love my fish and better days will come.

Hey everyone!

I currently have a JBJ cubey 20G AIO where the DT section measures to be about 16”x15”x16”, and I made my own aquascape for it. I made sure to be able to fit a magnetic glass Cleaner between the tip of the rock and the glass on all 3 viewing panes, as well as on the back even though you’d just be using a regular scraper for that.

I’m realizing that my current tank, thanks to its hood, has a number of issues preventing me from getting any sps. Horrendous par, low pH, low evaporation so minimal dosing allowance, etc. I want to get a different AIO setup that’s rimless and will let me keep the corals I want.

The setup I’m looking at, by comparison, will give a physical display region of about 19.25” x 16” x 19”. So, a little taller, a little wider, and a little longer.

There’s something exciting about the thought of making a new aquascape, but I realize that if I use the rocks I already have, it’ll cut down my time before I’m coral ready by MONTHS, since those rocks are already cycled anyways. The issue being, I think my current aquascape would end up looking small in the larger display. I’m thinking I can partially solve that with adding some branch pieces to the top to add height, but the scape won’t go “glass to glass” the way it did in my other tank.

Will that end up looking goofy? I’d love to see some before and after pics of the bare rockwork for your nanos and how it looks when filled in with Corals

After a turbulent year, I decided to give it an other go.
thank was neglected for a good 6 months, corals died, had cyano all over, the only survivors where the Blenny and a hermit.
just before Christmas, decided to give the thank an overhaul.
this is what it became

It's all a process, you should still document it and post a picture its always nice to see what people come up with when it comes to their aquascaping.

Here is my baby!
This is a 40 gallons custom tank with a shallow and rimless display. The aquascape is made of liverocks and epoxy glue... Nothing more, nothing less!

Cheers from Belgium!
And Happy New Year!
This is amazing. Do you have any photos of what the scape looked like when you started it?.
