At the moment, I am using Saxby config

Any ideas or recommendations?

Saxby is to convoluted for me but many like it.
You could try mine. I have mostly sps but my frogspawn also likes the setting. I have had the frogspawn for 6 years in 3 different systems and this is the best its looked. The frag system was halides and has been running this for 3 months with great color and growth.

From memory .. the one in the top left with bright white tips and a yellow-green-ish center was called "The Carl". The one in the top center that is a grey-ish white with green polyps was called "Sparkler" acro.

They’re stunning, especially the Sparkler. I’d love to try attempt similar acros but I’d probably manage to bleach them (So far growing a singular purple and green Yongei). I may still look for a similar coral to one of your two though and attempt it.

the key to success in this tank is 1) low bioload, 2) frequent 50% WC, 3) continuous 2-part dosing
That’s intriguing, do you find them to be easier acros or harder?

I have a RS max nano with 9 fish total and always do weekly water changes of around 20%. As for dosing I manage to still have high calcium, magnesium, KH ect by the end of the week

8 months in with my Max Nano 20g! Finally have all my corals/inverts (may add something in the open area at the front haven’t decided haha). Feels good to be through the uglies!

I love seeing people with the same tank as I do purely to see how they’re using the space and what they’ve gone for. Yours is a stunner, really love the look of it and the anemones :)

Thank you! And I do the same thing haha I periodically search here for RedSea max builds to see how others have set theirs up. I’ve actually followed your build thread for a while since we set up our tanks at about the same time haha! Enjoy seeing how your path with acros is going!

It’s hectic but fun! Just did a 4’ full water change and found some life that really hid from me for years! So I of course decided to take some of it for the nano. Don’t think the microbrittle star made it long and got eaten unfortunately. Will get a new FTS and close ups once everything settles :)

Waterbox Peninsula Mini 25, my very first tank
Almost 3 months old
Update pic! Almost 2 years old now. Did a complete rock rescape a few weeks ago and it’s helped with flow a lot.
