Trimma striatum is a stunning species but a PITA to get hold of as Trimma species on their own are hard to get hold of.
Yeah, I've never seen one for sale before despite it being from Biota. Apparently this guy has been at the store since March and kept an eye on him for multiple visits. I just decided to get him, and no regrets here!

Oh yeah, here's some in tank photos. He's taken residence in the overhang / upper cave system in my rock structure, glad to see he's in a spot I can view from the front. He's mostly a sit and wait kind of fish. Can't wait to get more gobies

Striatum is a stunning species, photos just cant do it justice!
I’ve come across many exotic gobies… I’m just shocked I found a pair of trimma that aren’t captive bred and are much rarer for the price of a Rubromaculatum (I think that’s what their scientific name is Atleast - I get lost with all the names I remember) pair.

I love the trifins but keep forgetting whether they’re a bryaninops goby or a trimma/eviota goby.

I really love gobies, I just wish nano gobies had a longer lifespan. Here are some of my previous residents.

Something a bit larger now, Koumansetta rainfordi (in a stand off with the yellow wrasse).

Priolepsis nocturna

And a relatively new addition, another Koumansetta rainfordi (because these fish are just so completely awesome). Already looking a bit fatter now. :)
