Would love to see your minimalist/bonsai aquascapes!! Need some motivation to start aquascaping as mine crumbled to pieces during my tank move last week :disappointed-face:

This is your tank? It's beautiful! Sorry to hear the scape didn't make it through your move bit it's a great opportunity to try out a new look. :) Can't wait to see what you come up with. :)

Yes it is! I already kind of have an idea for what I want to do, but honestly a bit nervous to aquascape again. Hopefully it comes out decent - will post an update !

Sry to read about the mishap. Hope the corals are ok.
I went with a low baumie style scape. Lots of swimming room for fish and lots of room for upward coral growth.

I've never seen this style of aquascaping before - i'm in love! The way the smaller pieces of rock are positioned are just *chefs kiss* Looks just like a natural reef. Awesome job

I also wanted it to be all in the lower third of the tank so it can fill in and up with coral over time.

There is this great video on YouTube about aquascaping:
I highly recommend subscribing to that channel because there’s even more aquascaping videos there!

Absolutely! There is great one from the same person that taught me all about the color wheel concept on how to place corals.

We need that creator to come on this forum. She can help so many people with designing. I don’t think she’d come though since she’s really famous. :worried-face:
