So, yesterday I was at my local Petco to pick up some food for my freshies and checked out the saltwater selection.
Saw a wrasse that I was not sure of, but was labeled a Blue Headed Fairy Wrasse. I knew it was not that wrasse after looking at pictures, but thought it must be a different fairy wrasse. Turns out, I was wrong. It's a juvenile Blue Headed Wrasse (Thalassoma bifasciatum). I was excited for it to be a fairy wrasse, but I'm not sure about it now. Would you keep it or would you try to return it? My concern his being a Thalassoma, it will be to aggressive for the tank when it matures. Thought/experiences?
My tank:
120 Reef
1 ~3" Blue Hippo
1 ~3" Clarkii Clown and 1 ~1" baby (hoping they'll finally pair up)
1 Baby Scopas Tang
1 Canary Blenny
Here is a link I was given about them on another site:
Thanks,
-Chris
