I guess this is the alternative to the thread on here Share Your Minimal Scapes. I come from the school of thought and empty space is a wasted space (well not really but it sounds good) Many of us start off with perhaps a minimal reefscape but after 18 months or so our reefscape with the growth of corals make your tank look maxed out.
So if you have before and after pic's to show how your original ideas and reefscape has been transformed over a period of time then let's see them. Here are 2 pic's of 100 gallon the first about April 2016 a couple of months after setting up. I know hardly minimalist as many corals had been transferred from previous reef tanks. So not very representative of what I am suggesting, sorry.
The next pic was taken in October this year a couple of months after transferring over to my new tank so you can clearly see how the corals have grown and in fact had I not taken many frags the tank would either look even more rammed or they would be killing one another.
