I got to see several of my clients (friends) in Asheville today that had sent me prayers, cards, and calls checking on me since my sudden cardiac arrest in May. Was really a great day to see and be so thankful !

Thanks for sharing. That is the purpose. Really sorry about the dog/best friend. I still get tears about my mastiff who past years ago. But, I can remember the good times that I had. Congrats on house and family.
I am sorry about the snakes. Ewwww. Just kidding. I am also scared of spiders, soooo.
Keep reading and sharing.
Yea he was my right hand. Literally got me through some hard times in my early twenties growing up in inner city Houston. I got him at 6 days old and bottle fed him. Promised him a house with a fenced yard that he could grow old at with me. Ended up finding my wife and had 3 daughters in the meantime and i always knew they were 100% safe while I was gone. He watched them like a hawk. I was finally able to fulfill my promise at the beginning of this year when we bought our home. Sadly he only got to enjoy it for about 8 months before he passed. He waited to pass until i woke up and he made sure I was able to be there and tell him goodbye. He was literally half of my soul. Smartest craziest most human like animal I've ever met. In his prime he was 115 solid pounds. Oh yea he was an American Staffordshire terrier. He and i have an amazing story to tell but that's for another day..... he made sure to bite me 5 minutes before he passed, and if you knew our relationship, that was the greatest farewell gift he could have given me. Everyday it gets a little easier to talk about him.
Great thing that happened to me today I'm off for the next two days and my wife and I have been acting like teenagers in love. It's wonderful and something that sometimes takes a backseat to life and raising children. It's been a good week. Thank you guys.
Oh and this is my monster man, my bubby, my best friend. Rest in peace old man, daddy will see you again one day and even though I have a whole lot of life to live before then, I can't wait to see you again.
