Sequence of events

Tank is filled, and water flowing.

I added sand and the water clarifier that came with the Caribsea sand.
I put in filter socks for help clean the water with the clarifier but plan on taking them out once clear

Two things I have that I’m wondering when to add.

If I take the socks out tonight. Do you think the Caribsea clarifier has run its course and it won’t affect the turbo 9000 ?

Also too early to add galaxy pods?

I have fish that have been in QT for over a month now also to add.

I started adding pods about a month after my tank cycled. You will have to make sure they have something to eat like phytoplankton, just don't use too much at once. I really do not know much about the Fritz, maybe someone else who does will come on here.

Too soon for pods. Add the fritz

Agree with above though that live phyto would be a better addition.

If the tank is not cycled yet, don't add pods.

You can add the the fritz right now.

Do you have a source of Ammonia in the tank?

You can keep the pods alive by periodically opening the lid and stirring the water up a bit, but as I said, I waited a bout a month. I would not add them now.

Tank is not cycled yet.

I have had Marco rock in the 20 gallon with 3 fire fish and 2 clowns for over a month now. I have also dosed that tank with Seed nitrifying bacteria. I was going to put that rock in the sump to help.
Also dose the tank with turbo 9000.

As far as the pods I got this combo. I have them currently in a glass jar with an air stone that I turn on a few times a day. Also have been feeding them how algae barn stated to if you need to store them longer than 48 hours.
